Happy Customer Service week!

This week, we take time out to appreciate all our customers both internal and external for their contributions to ATS Travel. Our esteemed clients, you are the magic and to our staff, you make the Magic happen!

This month is starting off on a positive note with the wonderful performance of the Kenyan team at the IAAF competitions in Doha. Congratulations to the Kenyan Team and we look forward to a sterling performance in the Japan, 2020 Olympics.

Kenya is reaping the fruits of its hard work, after a long absence we will return to the WRC circuit in 2020. What does this mean? It means more investment and also business for us in the tourism sector as international rally teams come to Kenya to rally.

The Laikipia plains and Maasai Mara also had some phenomenal wildlife spotted and this increased the number of tourists seeking that unique safari experience. The spotted zebra and the blonde Zebra are a sight to behold and are gifts of nature which our nation has been blessed with. As an abundantly blessed country we should strive to protect our resources and ensure that we push for sustainability in our tourism industry.

We also continue to enjoy growth especially in the number of tourists coming from the Americas with the US market topping the list. The US market recorded a 9.391 % growth in the 2019 half year (Jan.-June) compared to the same period last year. The market reported 110,668 arrivals up from 101,167 posted in the same period in 2018 according to KTB reports. These would not be possible without exemplary service from our partners and suppliers in the tourism industry.

Let us continue to be the best that we can be and push Kenya to greater heights!

Revenge Travel

While the word ‘revenge’ implies the nature of getting back at someone. Turns out 2021 is anticipated to be the year that everyone decides to get back at something: the year 2020! Many people had their new East African passports ready, travel groups created on WhatsApp and not forgetting how they had strategically planned their leave days! Anyway, it’s now November, many people haven’t ticked off those lists they had made at the beginning of the year. Much like birds caged up in their nests, so are travelers eager to soar back into the world of adventure.
