As we prepare to close the year, we look back on a year of mixed fortunes for us as Kenyans. Our Kenyan athletes as always went above and beyond to fly the Kenyan flag high. We remain thankful for everything that we have been able to accomplish this year. The addition of some of the animals found within our borders to the CITES protected list was a plus for us as country this year.
In the industry of course Kenya is still making great strides. Kenya recently won the best safari Destination at the 26th Annual World Travel Awards in Muscat, Oman for the 5th year in a row. Mahali mzuri, located in the Masai Mara won the award for the best Safari lodge. Kenya has also been chosen as the venue for the World Travel Awards Africa and Indian Ocean ceremonies to be held in 3/10/2020. This continues to stamp Kenya as the perfect travel destination.
What does this mean for us?
As our country continues to receive recognition as a top travel destination, our dreams and work towards pushing it as the ultimate travel destination continue to be realized bit by bit. If we continue to do what we need to do by providing the best services, working together and of course providing memorable experiences then our dreams will come to fruition.
The rains have however put a damper on our celebrations as the floods have caused havoc across the country especially in areas like Samburu. Our hearts go out to those who have been affected and we continue to assist however we can and in whatever way that we are able to.
We however remain grateful for all the good things and of course, we thank you all who have made this year memorable.
We appreciate you.
